Philip Owen, DO BSc (Hons) Ost.

Philip Owen is an internationally-renowned pediatric and cranial osteopath and the founder of The Old Hall Clinic. He is also the Inventor of the 'SleepCurve' range of products.

Philip Owen is registered with the General Osteopathic Council and qualified at the British School of Osteopathy in 1979. He practiced in the south of England and Australia before returning to Gatley where he is from.

He is now a Cranial Specialist and is considered one of the leading practitioners in the country. He was the senior external examiner at the BSO and the European School of Osteopathy. His specialism is new born babies and young children.

Philip has also lectured at The British School of Osteopathy.

 

Denis Brown, DO

Denis Brown is registered with the General Osteopathic Council and is a graduate of the British School of Osteopathy.

Denis has been in practice for over 40 years and has a great deal of knowledge and experience in the field of osteopathy. Dennis has lectured widely on osteopathy, written many clinical articles and also appeared on several radio and television programmes explaining and advising on his profession.

Elizabeth Halsey, BSc. (Ost.)

Elizabeth is registered with the General Osteopathic Council.  She has worked at the Old Hall Clinic since she graduated from the British School of Osteopathy.

Before training as an Osteopath, Elizabeth worked in genetics research. Elizabeth uses a combination of structural and cranial techniques to help with musculoskeletal problems in patients of all ages.
Elizabeth also uses cranial osteopathy with infants and children, which may help with sleep and digestive problems.

Dr Vimal Aggarwall, MBBS DRCOG MFHom RSHom

Vimal originally trained as a Doctor from Bangalore Medical Collage, qualifying in 1969. She has a wide variety of medical and surgical knowledge with specialist training and experience in women and children's health. Not only is she a homeopath, but Vimal has also been a General Practitioner since 1991.

Vimal is trained in homeopathic medicine at the North West College of Homeopathy, graduating in 1989; and then going on to further graduate from the Faculty of Homeopath in 1992. She is now a registered member of the Society of Homeopaths and Faculty of Homeopathy. Vimal is passionate about practicing holistic natural medicine using homeopathy and flower essences and kinesiology: the anatomy, physiology and mechanics of body movement.

Dr Xiaohong Kang, MBAcC, Master of Acupuncture, MB

Dr Kang received eight years education at Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) universities in China and obtained a Bachelor degree of TCM and a Masters Degree of Acupuncture and Moxibustion.

She practised as a Physician-in-charge at Xiamen Hospital of TCM, Xiamen, China for many years and has practised in the UK since 1994.

Colette Ingham, MCSP SRP

Colette has gained extensive experience in the field of musculoskeletal / sports injuries by working with the England and Great Britain Volleyball teams.

Colette specialises in the treatment of whiplash injuries (member of the Medicolegal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists) and shoulder and elbow problems. She has lectured at Salford University to the physiotherapy degree students and also lectures at Manchester University on physiotherapy postgraduate courses. Since 1995 Colette has been the on-site physiotherapist for the BBC, Manchester treating many musicians during her time there.

Caroline Dobson, MCSP SRP

Caroline specialises in the treatment of musculoskeletal, sporting and whiplash injuries having attended many postgraduate courses since qualification.

She is also a member of the North West Upper Limb Group (NWULG) and regularly attends their meeting to keep up to date with recent advances in the treatment of shoulder and elbow problems. In the late 1980's Caroline spent time being physiotherapist to local rugby clubs and then physiotherapist to the Men's Great Britain Volleyball squad.

William Billing, Adv Dip EHP NLP

William has been in practice in Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy for over ten years. He holds an advanced diploma Eriksonian Hypnotherapy & Psychotherapy and is a Master NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) Practitioner.

He has helped many people with a wide variety of issues including stress, phobias, bereavement, depression, stopping smoking, self esteem, weight management and insomnia.

Barbara Collins BSC (hons) AAMET (Adv) BSCH (Assoc) GHR (Reg)

With a background in scientific research and medical writing, Barbara is a Clinical Hypnotherapist (Practitioner Diploma, London College of Clinical Hypnotherapy and the University of West London), Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) (Advanced) and Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR) Practitioner and Reconnective Energy Healer.

Using the therapies at her disposal, she has helped individuals deal with issues involving stress, trauma, PTSD, poor self esteem, physical and mental pain, forgiveness, phobia, grief, confidence, panic, habits, poor sleep, abuse, tinnitus, smoking and issues from the past.

'Physics tells us that everything is energy - I've seen some amazing things happen in healing - I believe it's all just physics'.

Lyn Hamilton, IIHHT, BCMA

Lyn has been a Holistic Therapist for over sixteen years, working at the Neil Cliffe Cancer Unit, in-house on the hospital wards and out on the district with the Macmillan teams.

Lyn trained as a 'Doula' (birth partner) and specialises in massage and reflexology in pregnancy, working hand in hand with the Osteopaths and Physiotherapists at the Old Hall Clinic, complementing their work with remedial massage. Lyn's treatments include; Massage (sports, remedial, pregnancy, baby, Indian head, aromatherapy), Reflexology (conventional, vertical, crystal, pregnancy), REIKI (therapeutic touch), Hopi Candles - (includes head massage) and Pregnancy Workshops.
