The Old Hall Clinic in Gatley, near Manchester, is an alternative therapy clinic offering specialist medical and therapeutic treatments to tackle a wide range of different symptoms and conditions.

The clinic has a strong team of dedicated, highly experienced and qualified professionals who will assess, diagnose and treat your condition. The Old Hall Clinic specialises in treating adult cases - we have a separate clinic (adjacent to the Old Hall Clinic) called the 'Children's Clinic', which provides dedicated specialist treatment for children.

Philip Owen, the founder of the Old Hall Clinic, has gathered a highly skilled and experienced range of therapeutic specialists, to cover the main complementary therapies in addition to well-established, conventional treatments such as Physiotherapy, Counseling and Acupuncture.

 

The clinic now has a wide range of therapies available, which also includes Homeopathy, Chinese Medicine, The Alexandra Technique, Hypnotherapy, Reiki, Aromatherapy and Reflexology.

The emphasis at The Old Hall Clinic is on quality and in order to establish and maintain the reputation of the clinic as a centre of excellence, all practitioners must be qualified to the highest standards and registered with the appropriate professional body.

Many of the practitioners here are trained doctors with years of experience in General Practice and who have developed a particular complimentary interest and undertaken the appropriate qualifications for their specialist areas.

All the practitioners at The Old Hall Clinic would like to help people achieve better health by using complimentary therapies, thereby helping the body with its own healing mechanism.

Philip Owen's Treatment Philosophy

There are many different practitioners working here at the Old Hall Clinic, following a fairly 'traditional' route expected of their varies professions.

Philip Owen has devised a treatment protocol that works along side these therapies, for example physiotherapy for, and not in competition with it. As a result of this Philip enjoys a very strong working relationship with the physiotherapists at Manchester United Football Club and Sale Sharks Rugby Club.

The essence of why this symbiotic relationship works so well is because Philip Owen respects and admires the work of physiotherapists.

He says, "I do not purport to do the work of a physiotherapist which is locating injured tissues and working specifically on the tissues to speed up their recovery. The approach that has been shown to work time and time again for me is one of a holistic approach in which, whether after surgery or an injury the body is reintegrated with it self so that it works in complete balance, left to right front to back top to bottom and inside and out.

I have found many times over that if the body is able to regain its natural balance it will not only heal it self quicker but also be less likely to be injured in the first instance.'"

On your first visit to The Old Hall Clinic you will be greeted by friendly and professional receptionists who will be more that happy to help you with any queries you might have regarding private medical health insurance etc. Consultation can be by appointment on self referral or by your doctor.
